How to use it
Upload an image, choose AI or color mode, run AI or click the background. Tolerance starts at 30; inspect edges before downloading transparent PNG.
How to read the result
Checkerboard means transparency. Higher tolerance may erase the subject; test from 30 in steps of 5–10.
Privacy and limits
Pixels stay in Canvas and MediaPipe. jsDelivr receives connection data for the model, not the selected photo.
AI handles people, not pets or products. Color mode struggles with hair, glass, and gradients.

True AI background removal needs a 30-50MB neural model. This tool uses chroma-key, ideal for solid backgrounds.
When does it work well?
White-background product photos, plain-color headshots, green/blue screen removal, logos.
When does it fail?
Complex backgrounds, hair edges, semi-transparent objects, gradients. Use remove.bg for those.
