Best for
Inspect a CSV delivery or look through a workbook when you do not need spreadsheet editing. The picker accepts CSV, TSV, XLSX, and XLS files, with sheet selection for multi-sheet workbooks and text search across the current sheet.
How to use it
Choose or drop one file and wait for it to open. Select Sheet when the workbook has more than one, then enter Search text to find rows containing it in any cell. Export CSV downloads the entire opened sheet, not just matching rows.
How to read the result
The first row becomes the table header. The count reports matching data rows and header columns, but only the first 500 matches are displayed. Row numbers are positions in the filtered display, not original spreadsheet row numbers. Export includes undisplayed rows and the header.
Privacy and limits
SheetJS 0.18.5 loads from jsDelivr and parses the selected file locally; the widget does not upload workbook bytes. A blocked CDN prevents opening files. Before sharing data.csv, remember that search only hides rows on screen and does not remove them from export.
This is a read-only data preview, not a workbook editor or calculation engine. CSV export does not preserve sheets, formatting, or formula definitions. Parsed numbers and dates can differ from displayed spreadsheet formatting. Inspect identifiers and formula-like text before importing the CSV elsewhere.
