Best for
Use this to inspect your public network exit IP or look up another address and its approximate country, region, city, network organization, and timezone. It can help compare network or VPN exits, but cannot locate an individual or identify a specific device.
How to use it
The page automatically requests your current public IP when it opens. To inspect another address, enter an IP rather than a full web URL, then select Query or press Enter. Connection failures and provider limits can prevent results from appearing.
How to read the result
The response comes from ipapi.co. ISP uses the organization field; the organization display may also include an ASN, and timezone may include its UTC offset. A dash means data was not supplied, while location fields describe database attribution rather than an exact physical position.
Privacy and limits
Opening the page immediately contacts ipapi.co, exposing your connection IP to that provider. Looking up another IP sends that address in the request URL as well. The widget does not store lookup history, but this does not establish whether the provider retains request logs.
VPNs, proxies, mobile networks, and shared gateways can make the reported location differ from the user location. The result card is labeled IP for both your current exit and another queried address. Check the actual address shown, and never treat its attribution as identity evidence.
