Quick guide
What can Open Graph Preview help you do?
Free Open Graph meta preview tool. Paste a URL to see how your link looks shared on social media.
Best for
Use this to inspect sharing titles, descriptions, and images supplied in a public page's HTML. The Facebook and X mockups help reveal missing metadata, but they are neither live platform scrape reports nor an assessment of search visibility.
How to use it
Enter a complete public URL including its protocol, then fetch it or press Enter. Compare both preview cards with the populated metadata list. If fetching fails, check public access to the page as well as your connection and the proxy service.
How to read the result
The general card prefers OG title and description, falling back to the HTML title and description. X prefers its own metadata. Relative image addresses resolve against the submitted URL. Only populated fields appear in the list, so fallback content does not prove every tag exists.
Privacy and limits
The full submitted URL is sent to the public api.allorigins.win proxy to retrieve HTML. Preview images also make requests to their image hosts. Do not submit internal addresses, private sharing links, or URLs containing access tokens; this is not an offline inspection.
The tool does not execute the target page's JavaScript or refresh social-platform caches. Authentication, redirects, dynamic tags, and proxy restrictions can affect results. These cards may differ from actual shares and do not guarantee a particular appearance or search ranking.
